We hired Ed to do an "American Bandstand" themed party for our organization. As our organization is national in scope, the local host committee wanted Philly to look good, and Ed did a fantastic job in helping this to happen. Ed has an obvious passion for music, and for his gigs, and truly loves what he does. He is also very easy to deal with. Most importantly, the people at the party had a great time, which is what it is all about.

The Boss was great. First off we forgot to have a table set-up for him and he just pulled up a little end table and said "I'm good!"... and he was! Most of our guests and friends are mid-20 somethings and the Boss knew exactly what to play to get, as my wife put it, our dance-party-wedding going. He was friendly and accomodating to myself and our guests. If we weren't moving to San Diego, we'd def use him again. --

I'm taking it upon myself to change Ed's alias to "The AMAZING Boss Groover". Ed was terrific! We had an "After-Elopement-Celebration-Party" for close to 90 of our friends and family and the dance floor was packed all night. Ed had everyone up dancing- from a 6-yr old all the way up to my 87 yr old grandmother! The music was fantastic. Everyone had a wonderful time. Ed was AMAZING! We were under a deadline and I was really quite unusual with my requests. The Boss Groover went above and beyond all expectations and met every request with professionalism and concern. I would recommend to every person entering the site to check out The Boss Groover...amazing doesn't even seem adequate. He returned every call before the event. Spoke with us regularly to make sure all needs were met. What he didn't have, he went out and found and made sure our requests were covered. The crowd of 300 were all complimentary and even asked for the CD of music. Thank you to Ed and the Gigmaster site, you ROCK!

FABULOUS EXPERIENCE! COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH "THE BOSS"! HE KNOWS HIS MUSIC! I threw a Surprise 60th Birthday Party for my Boyfriend and I hired The Boss, sight unseen, from this Internet Website. He was incredibly professional. He answered me via e-mail right away and then followed up with a phone call. I could tell by talking with him he really knew his music by the ideas he gave me. He showed up early that night to set up, dressed professionally and was very cordial to everyone. He has the very latest technology in equipment, which took up very little space. To top it off -he made up a personal CD with favorite songs played that night as a gift! WOW!

Ed from The Boss Groover's Music From The Grooveyard was a complete and total pleasure to work with and have at our party! He played of all my Mom's favorites, since it was a party in her honor. He even had her favorite Nina Simone! And he made her a very special CD to commemorate the occasion, and there were 19 songs on it! Ed is a total music lover with a very, very extensive music collection. Plus, his website is organized and easy-to-use. A wonderful time was had by all! For a 60th surprise party, Boss Groover was able to take my mother, our family and her life long pals on a pleasant trip down memory lane c. 1950s and 60s. Ed was professional, very knowledgeable about his "avocation" and a really nice guy! He was able to dig up some 'not too often heard' songs much to our guests' delight. We hired The Boss Groover, Ed, for our Dad's surprise 60th birthday. With Oldies music as the theme, we needed some help. Ed went above and beyond from the moment we accepted his bid. He had the experience we needed and the personality we wanted. We told him a few of Dad's favorite songs. With that, he created four hours of timeless memories. (Without a break!)
